Back to School Obligatory Photo...

I loved the August releases from Color Cast designs! Being able to order the exact dates you need for those back to school photos was such an awesome idea! Definitely check out the School Years from CCD here!

I used my Messy Box for this photo of my kiddos that I forced them to pose for during the first week of school! Yes, I missed the first day photo op -- LOL!

The School Years pairs perfectly with the Back to School set! I love that the new, thinner, wood veneer from CCD can be attached to projects with staples! So awesome!

Fall is coming! Fall is coming!

I am so excited that fall lines have begun to hit the Paper Issues shop! The Fall Blessings line from Carta Bella has the most perfect shades, textures and patterns to get me in the mood for fall! Too bad it's still 100 degrees here!

I made some hand made tags by layering patterned papers, stickers and twine to add to my page.

This rake sticker was TOO PERFECT for this layout!

Twirl...

These photos of my niece Dara make me so happy! She is so spunky and spirited and she does what she wants!

My inspiration for this layout was one of the Scraplift Sunday layouts in the Paper Issues [Friends & Fans] group by Dona Howe!

I used the Up in the Clouds collection from Pinkfresh Studios for this layout! It was the perfect collection for these whimsical photos of Dara twirling around at the zoo!

I absolutely love these water color script alpha stickers! I wasn't too sure about them at first, but on a layout I totally fell in love with them!

I layered die cuts, wood buttons, patterned paper and the gold foiled 3x4 cards on this layout!

S'More Fun with PaperPOPs!

Hello! Today I am sharing a fun layout from a family camping trip we took in 2013 to Ice House Resivoir! The BEST part of camping is obviously the s'mores! We actually FORGOT the chocolate for our s'mores when packing and had to make an emergency stop at the local camp store to stock up. Can anybody say $3 candy bar...? LOL

For this layout I used the Campout line from Bella Blvd's last release and the adorable smiling s'more is an exclusive Paper Issues PaperPOP made by Parker on the Porch!

I am IN LOVE with these dang wood dots from My Mind's Eye. They came out in a line a few years ago and I literally bought 8 packs to hoard!

I mean, really...I can't even.

This kid for sure loves him a s'more!

I'm Pinspired, are you...?

Hello! Today is Pinspire Me Monday over on the Paper Issues blog and I played along with this Pinterest compiled collage that Leah pulled together!! I absolutely LOVE these colors.

I used the Pinkfresh Up in The Clouds line this this layout of my sister and her pup Ginger before Ginger officially belonged to Grace.

Grace spayed Ginger while she was in Vet School and fell head over heels in love with her! Grace couldn't stand the thought of this little nugget heading back to the shelter without a momma to love her so Grace drove out to the shelter a few days after Ginger's spayed and officially adopted her!

If you know my sister, you know there was NO WAY she was going to make it through Vet School without adopting at least one animal! LOL

Thank you for stopping by to take a look today! Remember to post your Pinspired layouts in the September Challenge album over on the Paper Issues {friends & Fans} Facebook page for a chance to win a $10 gift card!

September Paper Issues Sketch...

Hello! Today there is a new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog! This month's sketch is inspired by Lisa Dickinson for Elle's Studio.

I love the simplicity of this sketch - you can keep the sketch super simple in order to focus on your photo or you can take creative liberties and really get fancy since the sketch leaves you a lot of space to create!

Be sure to check out more form Lisa on her

My take uses the Summer Vibes collection from Simple Stories. I love this sweet photo pf my sister with her pooch, Ginger! <3

I added in a bit of everything from this line: chipboard frames, die cuts, stickers, enamel dots, bradz...the kitchen sink!

I also dug out those eggshell blue Thickers from my stash - which are discontinued - my sister should feel honored!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look! Be sure to check out how the rest of the DT used this sketch here

Awesome...

I was hoarding this photo of Anson waiting for the So Rad collection from Simple Stories to hit the Paper Issues shop! I KNEW that the So Rad line was made for this picture alone! LOL

For this layout I used pieces from the chipboard frames, chipboard shapes, the brads and the die cut pack from the So Rad collection.

I also used the Currently set from Color Cast Designs! That "Right Now," sentiment is probably my favorite thing every! I think I have used it on layouts in smoke grey and gold too! LOL

I also incorporated one of the cards from the Rise & Sine FREE Paper Issues Cut File

I'm telling you...this paper line; MADE FOR this photo!

Thank you so much for taking a look today!
