Dear Lizzy's Documentary Collection...

Today I am sharing three projects that I have done recently with this collection.

The first layout was a just for fun layout inspired by various layouts I have pinned!

The second layout was inspired by Mary-Ann Maldonado's ScrapLift Sunday Layout which you can see in the November challenge album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group.

My third project is a birthday card inspired by Corri Garza's November card sketch!

Horsing Around...

For October's Product Spotlight over on the Paper Issues blog we put the spotlight on one of my favorite manufacturers and one of my favorite lines to date from them: Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane collection.

I absolutely loved the embellishments for this line including the puffy stickers and the ephemera!

Those wood and gold arrows are also quite possibly one of my favorite embellishments of all time!

This photo of my sister with her boys makes me smile. She is definitely in her element here!

Learn Something New Everyday...

I am a little late in the game posting this layout but it's my blog and I'll do as I please! LOL

I designed this layout a few months ago using the Back to School FREE cut file from Paper Issues and the October Afternoon Summertime line.

I also sneaked a few Color Cast Designs bits in here and there including these acrylic and wood veneer words. "Hello" is from the Bloom set, "me today" is from the Embellish Me Neutral set and "my everyday," is from the Here and Now set.

I bunched together some more Color Cast Designs wood veneers from the Currently set with the October Afternoon stickers here.

I love this photo of my sister living life and doing what she loves to do -- and how adorable is that big baby llama?!?

Here is a close up of the file created by the ever talented Danielle de Konink.

I'm Pinspired, are you...?

Hello! Today is Pinspire Me Monday over on the Paper Issues blog and I played along with this Pinterest compiled collage that Leah pulled together!! I absolutely LOVE these colors.

I used the Pinkfresh Up in The Clouds line this this layout of my sister and her pup Ginger before Ginger officially belonged to Grace.

Grace spayed Ginger while she was in Vet School and fell head over heels in love with her! Grace couldn't stand the thought of this little nugget heading back to the shelter without a momma to love her so Grace drove out to the shelter a few days after Ginger's spayed and officially adopted her!

If you know my sister, you know there was NO WAY she was going to make it through Vet School without adopting at least one animal! LOL

Thank you for stopping by to take a look today! Remember to post your Pinspired layouts in the September Challenge album over on the Paper Issues {friends & Fans} Facebook page for a chance to win a $10 gift card!

September Paper Issues Sketch...

Hello! Today there is a new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog! This month's sketch is inspired by Lisa Dickinson for Elle's Studio.

I love the simplicity of this sketch - you can keep the sketch super simple in order to focus on your photo or you can take creative liberties and really get fancy since the sketch leaves you a lot of space to create!

Be sure to check out more form Lisa on her

My take uses the Summer Vibes collection from Simple Stories. I love this sweet photo pf my sister with her pooch, Ginger! <3

I added in a bit of everything from this line: chipboard frames, die cuts, stickers, enamel dots, bradz...the kitchen sink!

I also dug out those eggshell blue Thickers from my stash - which are discontinued - my sister should feel honored!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look! Be sure to check out how the rest of the DT used this sketch here
