Know when to fold 'em...

We have a new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog today and I am playing along! I loved this sketch inspired by Becki Adams' Turkey Dinner layout for Bella Blvd.

Be sure to check out more awesome work from Becki Adams on her:

I used the Baxter collection from Studio Calico for this layout of my furbaby Nikki on Christmas Eve. It's a family tradition to play Texas Hold 'em on Christmas Eve and she was sitting on Anson's lap and fell asleep! Clearly she wasn't impressed with our poker game!

The simplicity of this layout is near perfection! The focus is definitely on the photo!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look. Be sure to play along with us in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group. You can find all of the November challenges, including this sketch HERE!

Scrap Lift Sunday Roundup...

Today I am sharing a collection of layouts from the lest several weeks of Scrap Lift Sunday inspiration posted each Sunday in the Paper Issues {Friends and Fans} Facebook Group.

I love being inspired by other creative women and a good lift never fails to get my scrap mojo flowing!

For this first layout I used the Studio Calico Baxter collection for a lift inspired by Heather Joyce

I have had so much fun with the masculine line, So Rad, from Simple Stories inspired by Aleksandra Gadji.

Another lift inspired by Aleksandra Gadji using October Afternoon Summertime.

And finally, Jen Boumis inspired this layout using Cedar Lane from Pink Paislee

Be sure to play along every Sunday during the month on November for your chance to win one of two gift cards to the Paper Issues shop given away each month! You can find all of the November challenges in our Facebook group!

Red, White & Blue

Have you checked out the awesome Paper Issues challenges this month for a chance to win a $10 gift card to that Paper Issues shop? Be sure to check out all the details on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page

I played along with the Paper Issues sketch for this month inspired by Nicole Samuels. I LOVE her layout!

I used the Color Cast Designs Stars, No Stripes and 4th of July sets for this layout as the only embellishments. I love how this layout came together - it's a current favorite!

I also used the Bella Blvd Color Chaos Clear Cut Transparencies for the dots at the bottom of the layout.

Keeping the circle theme in play with the embellishments, the photos and the transparencies really made me happy!

Thank you so much for taking a look today!

We Have Color Cast Designs Issues...

Hey, Tech This Out! There is a new link party on the Paper Issue's blog sponsored by Color Cast Designs starting today! Play along and link up your projects to win a goodie bag of Color Cast Designs product! Be sure to stop by the Paper Issues blog for all the details!

Be sure to check out Color Cast Designs on:

For this layout I used Chickaniddy 365 and the Color Cast Designs "Embellish Me, Neutral" set and the #hello from the "#hashtagit" set!

For my sister's graduation party from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine I ordered 30 balloons in her school colors and couldn't help myself from having a little fun with all of those balloons! You can't help but be happy and goofy with 30 balloons!

Of course, no layout is complete without a bow lately!

I love these wood veneer phrases from Color Cast, they make such great little embellishments that can really be used for so many different themes and the frames in this set are also great for layering!

Thank you stopping by to take a look today!

I Scraplift Sundayed...

Have you Scraplift Sundayed?? This week's inspiration comes from Michelle Gallant's layout using Echo Park's Jack & Jill collection

I have been working with the Life Documented line from Simple Stories lately and I am loving it! It is such a great basic line that can be used for most anything!

I used patterned papers from Life Documented as well as the chipboard, bradz and clips! I also added some woodgrain chipboard stars from Studio Calico and the star and arrow shaped paper clips from Freckled Fawn as well as some Simple Stories label stickers!

Thank you so much for taking a look today! Be sure that you are a member of the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} group on Facebook so that you can play along with all of our inspirational posts, games and free files!

I {heart} my wiener...

Today I am up on the Paper Issues blog with the other PI girls featuring the Paper Issues Swag Bags and the FREE Paper Issues Printable Files

I used patterned papers from my scrap stash, some wood bits and the new Bella Blvd fabric bows, (which I looooove) paired with the March printable for this layout of my little Nick-Knack!

I have had so much fun designing the Paper Issues printables over the last few months and I am learning all new things about Photoshop!

These October Afternoon sticker alphas are some of my favorite - I have them in every color!

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look!
