New Issue Monday: Pocket-Book

It's New Issue Monday over on the Paper Issues blog with "Pocket-Book" and I created this fun summer themed layout using the AMAZING July Swag Bag (still available in the shop)! This is one of my favorite Swag Bags OF. ALL. TIME.

I used the new Where's The Pool PaperPOPs sold by and made exclusively for Paper Issues by Parker on the Porch. I also broke out my Lora Bailora flamingo washi - swoon!

So what is Pocket-Book all about? Here are a few ideas to get you started (use one or use them all). Feel free to use any product you'd like.

Share your pocket pages, planners and altered books.
Show us projects that have pockets on them, whether they're for hidden journaling or a design element — glassine bags, bitty bags, envelopes, etc.
Tell us about the books you like to read. Do you belong to a book club?
Do you have a favorite pocketbook? What do you keep in it?
Add a clothing pocket to your project.
Download August's free printable, The Beach is Calling, from the Paper Issues store and use one or more of the cards on your project.

***Please review the New Issue Monday Link and Win FAQ post for information on what you need to do to be eligible for the prize.***

Be sure to link up by August 30th for a chance to win a $20 Paper Issues gift card!!

We Have Color Cast Designs Issues...

Hey, Tech This Out! There is a new link party on the Paper Issue's blog sponsored by Color Cast Designs starting today! Play along and link up your projects to win a goodie bag of Color Cast Designs product! Be sure to stop by the Paper Issues blog for all the details!

Be sure to check out Color Cast Designs on:

For this layout I used Chickaniddy 365 and the Color Cast Designs "Embellish Me, Neutral" set and the #hello from the "#hashtagit" set!

For my sister's graduation party from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine I ordered 30 balloons in her school colors and couldn't help myself from having a little fun with all of those balloons! You can't help but be happy and goofy with 30 balloons!

Of course, no layout is complete without a bow lately!

I love these wood veneer phrases from Color Cast, they make such great little embellishments that can really be used for so many different themes and the frames in this set are also great for layering!

Thank you stopping by to take a look today!

Play along with the link party by June 21st, for a chance to win this awesome swag from Fancy Pants:

Do you need some ideas for the "Mist-er Fix-It" issue? Think...
 - Father's Day

- Using Tools
- Summer Plans
- Using the Paper Issues FREE Printables
- Using Fancy Pats Product

Be sure to also check out Fancy Pants on

I used the new Summer Sun line from Fancy Pants Designs (coming soon to the Paper Issues shop).

I also had to sneak in some of the Color Cast Designs new acrylic alphabets and the Doodlebug Glitter Sprinkles because they coordinated with this line perfectly!

The die cut shapes and the chipboard buttons worked perfectly for the clusters on each side of my main photo!

Make sure to stop by the Paper Issues blog to check out all the details for the new Issue!

Stuck Sketches Inspired...

Hello! Today I am sharing a LO inspired by the April 15th Sketch from Stuck Sketches!

Using Elle's Studio Cienna and this adorable photo of Olivia I interpreted the sketch quite literally!

This line from Elle's is one of my most favorite! I love them die cut pack - it made this page come together really easily!

I also used some stamps from SugarPea Designs to stamp on the yellow Elle's 3x4 card that I cut down above. This layout also works perfect for the current Link Party over on the Paper Issues blog!

I used the Hot Diggity Dog set paired with Heidi Swapp's, "My Favorite Things," line for this layout of my sweet girl Olivia!

The SugarPea Designs stamps stamped very cleanly! I was impressed by their quality!

I love that this stamp set came with a BUNCH of different sentiments for all kinds of uses!

And how cute are these pups??? <3 I just love them!
