Sketch Inspired...

Hello! There is a new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog designed by Amy Coose. Such a great sketch with so many possibilities!

 

I played along using the Wish Season line from Fancy Pants! This line has so many embellishments and I loved working with these colors coupled with the snow day photos!

Die cuts, flair badges, diction stickers, chipboard, puffy stickers - this line had it all!

The papers are great for both snow days or Christmas!

Pinspired in January...

Hello ladies! I am playing along with the first Pinspire me of 2016 and I absolutely LOVE this Pinterest mood board compiled by Mary-Ann Maldonado! It's stunning!

I used the Bo Bunny Altitude line from last winter for my layout of the kids making snow angels at Apple Hill a few years ago!

The Color Cast Designs acrylic snowflakes from the Let it Snow set where perfect for this layout!

'Tis the Season...

Have you had the opportunity to check out the awesome holiday release from Color Cast Designs yet? I am so in love with this holiday release in both traditional and non traditional colors. 

I used the Merry & Bright, the This December (in red) and the Twinkling Lights sets on this two page layout of Christmas Eve from several years ago when Santa accidentally came when we were all still awake!

 

This bright and fun Christmas layout makes me so happy!

  

The accent wood words that come with the Christmas sets are also perfect for layering over photos from the holiday season!

 

This page actually has a flap that when opened hides 8 more photos and journaling underneath! 

 

And those Wonky Hearts? Aren't they awesome? They are available in both pink and red sets! 

 

The pink and blue acrylic looks so fun together with these papers from Crate paper.

Creeper...

Hello, I am playing along with the product spotlight up on the Paper Issue Blog today featuring the After Dark line by Crate Paper! This line is so much fun!

I put together this creepy layout of my kid practicing her Halloween makeup!

I used the the ephemera pack for all of the embellishments clustered together on the right.

Then I added in some of the puffy stickers (the black and white circles with the spiders and crow).

 I also used the acrylic bats in both black and smoke from the Be Scary set from Color Cast Designs. This set is currently sold out but will be restocked by November 7th!

I really did crush on the Harvest collection from Pebbles this year! It was such a great collection!

 

The wood buttons and phrase stickers from the Imaginisce Give Thanks collections matched Pebbles perfectly!

The colors in this line were the perfect, vibrant, fall hues! I cannot get enough...

Color Cast Designs Holiday Release...

At 11:00am EST today...which has already come & gone if you are reading this...the October Color Cast Designs release will be live on the Color Cast Designs website and OMG, it is the BEST release yet!

Six, yes SIX, Christmas sets in two different color schemes! A Halloween set! AND a Thanksgiving set! 

On my layout below I used elements from the Merry& Bright set as well as the coordinating nesting hearts paired with the new Pinkfresh Studio, Christmas Wishes line. 

 It is super fun that Jessica used non-traditional colors in her Christmas sets including teal and pink!

This frame and sentiment pictured below are from the Pinkfresh die cut pack, as are the adorable deer die cuts below.

The "trimming the tree" sentiment is also from the Merry & Bright set from Color Cast.

Hello Autumn...

Hello! I'm sharing another fall layout using the Color Cast Designs September releases. On this layout I use both the Crisp Air and Harvest sets paired with the Harvest collection from Pebbles.

I also used the giant ampersand in the coordinating fall colors on this layout. These ampersands are absolute perfection!

Paired with the wood buttons and phrase stickers from Imaginicse -- all of these colors come together perfectly.

I layered together the "OCT," "harvest" and that tiny pumpkin all from Color Cast Designs on the bottom right of my layout to add balance.

The "hello" and "autumn" script phrases are also from the Harvest set.

Paper Issues FREE October Cut File!

This month Paper Issues has an awesome Halloween themed FREE cut file for you! Danielle designed this web background and you can pick it up for FREE right HERE along with all of the other FREE cut files, FREE printables and FREE sketches that Paper Issues provides each month!

I LOVE this file and I was instantly inspired by it.

I didn't want to use a lot of patterned paper because I wanted the web to really pull the layout together!

I used an older Echo Park Halloween line to layer some basic papers behind each photo and then used stickers to add bits here and there!

I really loved how this turned out! Isn't it awesome when a layout actually transfers from your brain to the paper as expected?!?!
