~Happily Ever After~

The last layout from my friend Shelly's Wedding - THE PARTY!! Shelly's reception was so much fun! We ate (and I have to admit, the Indian food was YUMMY), we danced, we drank! Shelly looked gorgeous, yet again, in her traditional Indian wedding attire. Indian weddings are SO COLORFUL. It puts the tradition black and white American wedding to shame!

Obsessed with my dogs much?

~Rough & Tumble~

Watching Olivia and Nikki become fast friends was so much fun. They love each other and they will wrestle and play for hours. Sleep for w bit. Then get right back to it!

These pictures are totally blurry, but two doxies don't stay still for long!

Sunshiny Yellow...

~My Olivia Girl~

Oh how I love this little 12 lbs booger butt. Can anybody say, "spolied?"

Love this layout! I NEVER use yellow, but when I do, I go for it! The colors and papers are so bright and fun and the banner just adds the perfect touch.

Getting into the spirit...

~Snow Day~

It's never too early for thoughts of a Winter Wonderland. Since we don't live in snow country anymore I am so happy that I took these photos of Nikki and Olivia experiencing snow for the very first time EVER! It was HILARIOUS! They had no idea what was going on and were afraid to touch the offending white substance until they realized - OMG WE CAN EAT IT!!! That's when they wend BONKERS! Love my doxie girls!

My Grandmother

~Barabara, Circa 1950~

I don't know exactly when this photo was taken, but my mom and I narrowed it down to somewhere around 1950 plus/minus a year. I love scrapbooking these photos of my grandparents from a different time...it gets me thinking...

I am loving the October afternoon sticker sheets right now! I use them on EVERYTHING! And how cute is that bow from Freckled Fawn?

Experimenting with Mists

~The Cat Dog Tree~

Nikki and Olivia decided that the cat tree that we got for the cats made a much better dog fort than a cat tree! Obviously we know who is in charge around our house...

This page was so much fun to make. Inspired by a sketch from Sasha Farina, I started with Kraft cardstock and used the Kikkerland Speech Bubble Sticky Notes as a reverse stencil. I used the Opaque White mist from Studio Calico to mist the cardstock around the speech bubbles and then outlined the speech bubble silhouettes with my white journal pen. SO OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE!!

The Yellow/Grey/Turquoise Bandwagon

~Shots...with Wine Chasers~

Tracy, Kristen and I like to keep things classy and the events that occurred at our annual Summer BBQ demonstrated just how classy we can all be. When we were peer pressured into taking shots of cinnamon infused whiskey, Vhino Verde sparkling wine was the obvious chaser choice.

With the help of Studio Calico's August Kit, Summer of '69, I tried on the popular grey/yellow/turquoise color scheme and was really happy with the outcome!

I am definitely having fun getting some more recent photos onto paper!! Loving these quick one page layouts for those fun moments where I just don't have enough shots for a double page layout!
