~Doxie Attack~

Olivia is relentless. If she can get you pinned down you don't stand a chance against her snake tongue. Up the nostrils and don't you dare open your mouth or laugh! She is 12.5 lb. licking monster!

This layout was inspired by Studio Calico's Pop off the Page class that I took.

You don't write...You don't call...

So besides this being one of the busiest times of year at work (hello extended tax deadline) and I have been working 60-70 hours a week for the past month and a half with no days off...ON TOP OF THAT...somebody decided to buy a new house and move during tax season.

We got the keys on August 18 and this is what my house looks like almost 1 month later...

Settled? Not even close! I have no idea where my scrapbook stuff is!

But soon my friends, soon I will create again!

 As you may have noticed, posting has been slim. Please excuse my lack of attention to scrapbooking until this Tax Accountant has filed all necessary tax returns!

~The California State Fair Makes Me Happy~

Ok, ok, ok...how about a double page layout with 9 (NINE) photos?!? Does that satisfy you?

I got eight 3"x3" Instagrams and a photo strip on this layout. 

I love the photo strips from photo booths but I usually have a hard time incorporating them into my layouts; however, this one went together easy as pie. 

Also, the new Echo Park line, Everyday Eclectic by Allison Kreft - LOVE IT! So fun to use!

~Hiking @ Horestail Falls~

Anson I didn't have the kids for July 4th this year, so we decided to hike up to Horsetail Falls off Hwy 50 on the way to South Lake Tahoe. It was a gorgeous day spent with my love and the pups!

I should be packing...

I woke up at 6am Sunday morning and it was so hot that I couldn't go back to sleep, so I figured I may as well scrapbook (packing was out of the question, obviously...). 

I fell in love with a layout from bluestardesigns Studio Calico member gallery and threw together a quick lift from my Elmwood Park kit. 

All of my scrapbooking paraphernalia is packed at the moment with the exception of a few key items, including what's left of my Studio Calico kit...so the double layouts are on hold for now. Once we are moved into the new house I will have my very own Office/SCRAPBOOK ROOM (emphasis on the SCRAPBOOK ROOM park) - I cannot even express my excitement!

So for now, another one pager...a rare page of me, myself and I...

I know, I know,  I know...I shouldn't be taking pictures while driving. I couldn't help it - my earrings and dress were too cute!
