1...2...3...Strikes You're Out...

With help from the fabulous Jen Chapin I was able to light a fire and scrap Lily's 2012 Softball portraits; because I absolutely love to scrapbook these staged sports photos! Not.

All it took was a little inspiration using that cut file featured on the Paper Issues blog today and the page came together pretty quickly!

Check out the FREE cut file available for download on the Paper Issues Blog and link up your projects by October 31st for the chance to win a November Swag Bag from Paper Issues!

Products Used: Wood Veneer, Studio Calico // Black Thickers, American Crafts // Letter Stickers, Basic Grey // Various patterned papers from Studio Calico Kits

Color Cast Designs Debut...

To my total delight I was chosen for a second Design Team; Color Cast Designs by owner Jessica Upton! She makes the most adorable little bits from wood and acrylic!

I received my first order of goodies today and I couldn't help but break out my showing machine, some of my favorite fall papers from American Crafts (that I have been hoarding) and the leaves and sentiment from the Color Cast Designs Fall kit to make this fall themed card!

Ladies, how CUTE is this fall acrylic and wood embellishment kit? These fall bits are the perfect size for cards and layouts but would also be AWESOME in your PL pocket pages - especially the wood pieces! You can get this kit HERE; and if you use the code "Rebmnmny," you will get 10% off your entire order!

Play Ball...

I am not a fan of scrapbooking the kid's sports portraits; it seems to zap all my creativity immediately! I think that I want to make them theme based which just seems a little to "Jolee's Boutique" to me. It just stumps me altogether, so when I actually get my act together and scrap a set of photos from which ever sport is ready to be scrapped, I'm extremely grateful to just get it DONE! Does anybody else feel this way about those over-posed sports portraits?

I used some old Basic Grey papers and just some ribbon on hand for this LO. Very easy and everything was from my stash. I also used a few sports word stickers and the red number stickers from Fancy Pants and the Baseballs from Little B - they are actually stitched!

All the Fall Things...

I think that Fall themed paper and embellishments are by far my favorite lines! I always love the colors and the icons - you cannot go wrong with leaves, little foxes, pumpkins and what not!

Gossamer Blue nailed it with their Gramercy Road fall line this year - the colors are a bit unconventional for fall but they totally work!! I absolutely love the mix of navy & pink scattered in with more traditional fall browns, greens & golds!

Gramercy Road has to be one of my favorite lines of the year!

I created this layout for the new link party happening right now over on the Paper Issues blog! Link up your fall themed layouts by October 28th to win Pinkfresh Studio goodies!

I created this layout for the current issues at Paper Issues, You're Sew Cute, You Keep Me In Stitches. This is the last of my layouts for our 2012 family photos - and I think I saved the best for last because I LOVE how this turned out!

Link up your ribbon, sewing, or other related projects to the current issue by October 12th to win some May Arts goodies!

Another double-pager of our family portraits from 2012. It's so funny because the kids have changed SO MUCH since these were taken! I really had a difficult timing scrapbooking these photos beacuse I wanted to do these gorgeous photos justice!
