Hickey Burpday Love...

Anson turned 36 on Wednesday (he's almost 40 now - ha!) and I put together this birthday card for him. 

I NEVER make cards, so this is out of my comfort zone. The Uncharted Waters line by Glitz inspired this card - I love love love this line! 

Never to early for the holidays...

I wanted this LO of our 2012 Christmas card to be super simple because I love the photo so much. Muted papers and minimal, simple embellishments from Crate paper really allowed the photo to pop. 

Made with Studio Calico's 34th Street kit and Kris Kringle add on.

In the Birthday mode...

Since Anson's birthday is tomorrow and mine is next Thursday I figured I'd post a birthday  LO (even if it isn't a LO about my birthday). Connor's 7th birthday, and I got this in under two years since he won't be 9 until January! 

Made using the Studio Calico Block Party kit and wood veneer! 

It's getting WILD up in here...

I love love love these bright photos and this bright paper, Color Me Happy, by Glitz Design!! This was such a fun day at Six Flags; in celebration of Lily's 10th birthday she got to take a friend with her! 

One mega LO, 13 (!) photos, a whole lotta happy!! 

(I guess I should maybe iron my background canvas....meh...)

In addition to Glitz I used the Becky Higgins Design J PL Insert, a Whisker Graphics red polka dot baggie, and Thickers + Basic Grey alpha letters for my title. 

You're giving me a heart attack....

Oh man. This was a scary day for sure!!! Nothing like getting a call that your man is being rushed to the hospital for a possible heart attack! After a lot of tests and worrying - they found NOTHING wrong with him (thank God). Which translated to him sticking to his stanch routine of soda and donuts every morning. 

Sunshiny days...

I love these snap shots of Lily in the sunshine at the Rivercats game last summer! She's such a natural beauty! 

The Thickers used on this LO, Treasue by Dear Lizzy, are my absolute FAVORITE! There's a bunch of bits mixed into this layout, including Dear Lizzy by AC, 7 Gypsies and the Studio Calico 34th Street SB Kit and Kris Kringle add on.

Made with the Studio Calico Neverland kit and a whole lot of Maggie Holmes goodness, plus some gold leaf sequins from Paper Issues and that to die for gold, glitter, diamond vellum from Crate Paper. 

Not the only crafty one in the house....

Caught Connor drawing with my mom's old drawing pencils. He is quite the artist when he puts down Minecraft for a hot minute!! 

I used the Neverland Tudio Calico kit to pull this together. Plus some Freckled Fawn, 7 Gypsies & some other miscellaneous bits. 

But first lets take a selfie!

Got a little creative spurt after a glass of Two Buck Chuck and looked what happened...! 

Used my Neverland Studio Calico SB Kit (w/ Hook & Lost Boys add ons) plus I mixed in some Maggie Holmes vellum & chipboard frame, some Crate Paper tags from Notes & Things, a Freckled Fawn arrow paper clip, Doodlebug gold enamel dots, some Heidi Swap gold Color Shine & some odd bits from past kits for good measure!! 

2013 Christmas Card Keepsake

I figured September was a good month to take the 2013 Christmas cards off the refrigerator! I put together a little keepsake book this morning for the photo cards using an older Bsic Grey line called Eskimo Kisses. Now I'm ready for the 2014 Christmas cards!
