Sketch Inspired...

Hello! There is a new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog designed by Amy Coose. Such a great sketch with so many possibilities!

I played along using the Wish Season line from Fancy Pants! This line has so many embellishments and I loved working with these colors coupled with the snow day photos!

Die cuts, flair badges, diction stickers, chipboard, puffy stickers - this line had it all!

The papers are great for both snow days or Christmas!

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look! Don't forget to add your take on the sketch to the challenge thread in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} group on Facebook!

Happy Holidays Cut File...

There is a brand new cut file live in the Paper Issues shop today and I have played along with the new cut file on the Paper Issues blog today with the rest of the design team!

I played along using the Pinkfresh Studio Christmas Wishes line and this adorable photo of Olivia being cute (aka begging for food).

This little mouse die cut is probably my favorite! He is just so cute!

That penguin? Apparently, I am a sucker for critters! I also really love the rubber charm stickers from this line ("Warm Winter Wishes")!

I cut this cute Christmas bear out of another sheet of patterned paper and the word phrases are from the die cut pack!

I cut the Happy Holiday's banner out of this patterned paper using my Silhouette and this month's FREE cut file. I used a grey pen to trace the cut file in order to make it stand out better against my layout.

This check naughty or nice die cut is too perfect for Olivia, who can certainly be a naughty little thing! The enamel star sticker was a favorite embellishment from this line's rubber charm pack!

Thank you so much for taking a look today! Remember to link up your cut file projects in the December challenge album in the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group for a chance to win one of two $10 gift cards to the Paper Issues shop! Use the code BECKY for 20% off your total order!

Key to My Heart...

Have you checked out the new sketch over at Paper Issues yet? This month's sketch was inspired by Sasha Farina for October Afternoon. Be sure to check out more from Sasha on her Instagram account and on her blog!

I used the new Chickaniddy 365 line for this Valentine's layout of the gorgeous roses Anson got me along with a Valentine's Day selfie in the sunshine!

This is the first time I have worked with Chickaniddy product and I love the quality and texture of their paper - it is absolutely luscious!

I added some of the enamel triangles and keys from the line as well as cutting some banners from the Cloud 9 patterned paper.

I also added in some of the Oreo and White Little Bits stickers from Bella Blvd as well as a few of the stickers from the Just Add Color Trinkets.

Be sure to link up your take on the sketch for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the Paper Issues shop! You have until Friday July 3rd to play along.

Stuck Sketches Inspired...

Hello! Today I am sharing a LO inspired by the April 15th Sketch from Stuck Sketches!

Using Elle's Studio Cienna and this adorable photo of Olivia I interpreted the sketch quite literally!

This line from Elle's is one of my most favorite! I love them die cut pack - it made this page come together really easily!

I also used some stamps from SugarPea Designs to stamp on the yellow Elle's 3x4 card that I cut down above. This layout also works perfect for the current Link Party over on the Paper Issues blog!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look today!

Sketchy Saturday...

Hello my Paper People! There is a brand new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog today based off an awesome layout for Nicole Nowosad.

You can find more inspiration from Nicole on her Blog and her Instagram account!

I used the new Fancy Pants Office Suite line for this adorable photo of my niece with her tushie flapping in the breeze!

This line had great embellishments including die cut labels, ephemera, buttons and flair!

I'm also crushing on the new texture of the patterned paper that Fancy Pants used for this line. It reminds me of the Bazzill Orange Peel texture.

 And I mean...that little tushie!!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Don't forget that you can find all the Paper Issues sketches here!

Hello My Pretties...

Have you checked out the Sketch from Paper Issues this month? I love this months inspiration by Jennifer Chapin and I created the below layout using her sketch.

I am enamored with the new Fancy Pants Office Suite line!I got so many miles out of this line! I think I did 4 layouts! I used up every last scrap.

The "On the bookshelf" wood veneer is from the March Color Cast Designs release - it's a fabulous set for both scrapbookers and Project Lifers!

I went to town using the Office Suite ephemera pack - my favorite embellishment out there right now! So much goodness in one little package!

I also adding the Color Cast Designs acrylic words into my titles. Mixing and matching up my Thickers with the acrylics just gives my pages that extra pop! The turquoise "hello" is from the Bloom set released in March also.

Thank you for taking a look today!

I used the new Pink Paislee, Bella Rouge for this layout of my little Nikki girl and I <3.

The black and white, transparent alphabet set included in this line is FABULOUS!

The acetate die cuts in the ephemera pack are my favorite, and I was also partial to these diamond die cuts!

Top 14 of 2014: A Year of Layouts...

As we say goodbye to 2014 it's fun to look back and reflect upon the friendships, memories, good times (and bad) and get ready to welcome 2015! Here are 14 of my favorite personal highlights from  2014:

1. Getting our puppy Jaxson,
2. Learning to knit two scarves,
3. Going to Nashville and Memphis with Tracy and Kristen,
4. Spending a weekend in Napa with my sisters,
5. Our family vacation to San Diego,
6. My best friend getting married,
7. Taking Anson's 85 year old Grandmother to her first Giants game,
8. Making the Paper Issues and Color Cast Designs design teams,
9. Watching the Giants win their 3rd World Series in 5 years,
10. Leaving the firm I have worked at for 7.5 years and joining a new firm,
11. Celebrating our 4th anniversary together,
12. Spending 5 days in Palm Springs with Anson, John and Renee,
13. Finally getting a King size bed and new (read: matching!) bedroom furniture and
14. Crate training our dogs to sleep in their own beds at night rather than ours.

I also love looking back on what I created for the year and here are my 14 favorite layouts from 2014:
