Printable Perfection...

Hello! I'm over on the Paper Issues blog today showing off the FREE Paper Issues Printables! For the month of August the 80's were speaking to us with this fun pop culture inspired printable that you can download HERE

This month I used the "List all the Things," printable for this photo of my niece decorating cupcakes. She is so dang proud of her masterpiece! I just love this little face. I also used the April Swag Bag here + the "on the menu," wood embellishment and some enamel heart stickers from my stash!

Red, White & Blue

Have you checked out the awesome Paper Issues challenges this month for a chance to win a $10 gift card to that Paper Issues shop? Be sure to check out all the details on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page

I played along with the Paper Issues sketch for this month inspired by Nicole Samuels. I LOVE her layout!

I used the Color Cast Designs Stars, No Stripes and 4th of July sets for this layout as the only embellishments. I love how this layout came together - it's a current favorite!

I also used the Bella Blvd Color Chaos Clear Cut Transparencies for the dots at the bottom of the layout.

Keeping the circle theme in play with the embellishments, the photos and the transparencies really made me happy!

Thank you so much for taking a look today!

New Issue Monday: Pocket-Book

It's New Issue Monday over on the Paper Issues blog with "Pocket-Book" and I created this fun summer themed layout using the AMAZING July Swag Bag (still available in the shop)! This is one of my favorite Swag Bags OF. ALL. TIME.

I used the new Where's The Pool PaperPOPs sold by and made exclusively for Paper Issues by Parker on the Porch. I also broke out my Lora Bailora flamingo washi - swoon!

So what is Pocket-Book all about? Here are a few ideas to get you started (use one or use them all). Feel free to use any product you'd like.

Share your pocket pages, planners and altered books.
Show us projects that have pockets on them, whether they're for hidden journaling or a design element — glassine bags, bitty bags, envelopes, etc.
Tell us about the books you like to read. Do you belong to a book club?
Do you have a favorite pocketbook? What do you keep in it?
Add a clothing pocket to your project.

Scrap Lift Sunday Roundup!

Hello! Today on the Paper Issues blog we are sharing some of the Scrap Lift Sunday layouts from members of the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook group and I thought it would be a good time to share the Scrap Lift Sunday layouts that I've done over the last few weeks!

Original layout by Tarrah McLean:

Here is my lift using the Simple Stories Take a Hike line plus embellishments from A Flair for Buttons and Color Cast Designs. This is a 9x12 layout that will be included in the 9x12 album I am doing of our family trip to Yosemite in 2012.

Original layout by Danielle de Konink

My take on Danielle's layout using Simple Stories Summer Vibes -- I loved this line! I went a different direction with this summer themed line by scrapbooking my mom with her horse, Wyatt. It just goes to show you that themed lines can be used more broadly from time to time!

Original layout by Many Kay Starner

Another lift using Simple Stories Summer Vibes -- here I scrapbooked some one of my photos that I took for the Summer Photo Scavenger hunt, #iSpyWithPI, sponsored by Paper Issues! These photos of Connor eating frozen yogurt were my entry for #icecream! What?! frozen yogurt counts! I love love love how Mandy used the chipboard frames in her layout and I knew I needed somma dat in my life!

Thank you for stopping by to take a look!
