Planner Love...

Hello lovelies! We are talking about our 2016 goals over on the Paper Issues blog today

I am sharing my first week of January from my Plum Paper Planner. I included a few of my 2016 goals on my week 1 spread as a reminder!

Most of the items used for this week come from the Simple Stories Carpe Diem collection.  I also can't resist adding in an exclusive Paper Issues PaperPOP handmade by Parker on the Porch!

I also filled in with some stickers from Craftcake Designs as well!

Planner Addict in the Making...

Have you played along with the current Issue over on the Paper issues blog for a chance to win?

Our December issue is a real hoot! Owl I Want for Christmas will run through 1/3/16, giving you plenty of time to add your project(s) to the link up.

So what is Owl I Want for Christmas all about? Here are a few ideas to get you started (use one or use them all).
Feel free to use any product you'd like.
Show us your projects about December holidays and/or your holiday traditions.
Share a project with an owl on it.
What's on your holiday wish list?
Has a child in your life lost any teeth (that may be all they want for Christmas)? Show us those cute toothless smiles or projects about the Tooth Fairy.

I played along this month using my new Plum Paper Planner! That's right, I am caving to the PLANNER MADNESS!!

Clearly peer pressure got the best of me and BOOM...my first decorated planner layout!

I used bits and pieces from the new Simple Stories Carpe Diem line as well as planner stickers from Craftcake Designs. Elaine Davis sponsored the Fall Crop over at Paper Issues and I just had to order some of her stickers and I am so glad that I did!! They are seriously delicious!

Of course, no planner is perfected without a PaperPOP sold exclusively at Paper Issues and hand made by Parker on the Porch!  This little owl was one of my favorites from the winter release!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look! Don't forget to link your projects up for a chance to win a Paper Issues gift card!

Simple Stories Product Spotlight...

Hello! The Paper Issues design team is putting the spotlight on Simple Stories new Pumpkin Spice line today on the blog!

I designed another double-page layout using this line. I love my double-pages!

I layered the bits (die cuts), enamel dots, chipboard stickers and the bradz throughout my layout to draw your eye to specific photos.

Simple Stories has so many great embellishments with each of their lines! There is always so mych to choose from!

At the bottom of the page I used wallet sized photos and the 2x2 chipboard frames layered with bits (die cuts). I love how this came out! I am really enjoying the chipboard frame pack from this line!

Here I used the Expressions stickers, bits (die cuts), bradz and enamel dots. Clustering is totally my thing right now! Also, I love that the Simple Stories bradz are now sticky -- no more prongs!
