I used the B-Side collection from Basic for my take!

 These photos are of the 8 week old foster puppies that we had for two days. Jaxson appointed himself puppy keeper and took his duties very seriously!

I used both the die cuts and the title element stickers from the B-Side collection on this layout. 

Plus a faux leather bow from an older Dear Lizzy collection -- bows on all the things!

Those Ears...

I gathered inspiration from Stuck Sketches for this adorable layout of Jaxson when he was a puppy.

  

All of that papers and embellishments on this layout are from my stash! Oh my god... I have dog papers and embellishments for days (and days and days and days...)!

But seriously...can you even get enough of those ears?

It is fun to go through your stash and pull out things you had forgotten you even had <blushes>.

Scrap Lift Sunday Roundup...

Today I am sharing a collection of layouts from the lest several weeks of Scrap Lift Sunday inspiration posted each Sunday in the Paper Issues {Friends and Fans} Facebook Group.

I love being inspired by other creative women and a good lift never fails to get my scrap mojo flowing! 

For this first layout I used the Studio Calico Baxter collection for a lift inspired by Heather Joyce. 

 

I have had so much fun with the masculine line, So Rad, from Simple Stories inspired by Aleksandra Gadji.  

 

Sherri Funk's layout inspired this lift using Cedar Lane from Pink Paislee. 

Another lift inspired by Aleksandra Gadji using October Afternoon Summertime.

And finally, Jen Boumis inspired this layout using Cedar Lane from Pink Paislee.

Doggone Tired...

I'm sharing another ScrapLift Sunday layout today; this time inspired by Kelly Feldman for Paper Issues! Kelly's original layout using Bella Blvd's Whatever is Lovely collection was so awesome!

I played along using the Kaisercraft Shine Bright line!

These baby photos of Jaxson sleeping next to Anson on the couch are so sweet. His little puppy ears certainly had a mind of their own back then! 

I love all of the patterns that were included in this line. The yellow and black were so perfect for boy pages as well (including boy dogs -- LOL)!

Baby Jaxson...

Hello! Today I am sharing a layout inspired by the April 1, 2015 sketch from Stuck Sketches! I used the Elle's Stuido Cienna collection for this baby picture of Jaxson! Since he's still a little baby here, I sneaked some pink papers in even though he is a boy -- LOL!

I paired the wood veneer with the stickers from the collection for my title! I like to mix my titles up with different elements.

OMG -- this face! I cannot resist it. When I went to the shelter to look at this liter of puppies Jaxson was sound asleep on the bottom of the puppy pile and I knew I had to have him!

Right now I am loving when collections include phrase stickers. I love these! They are so easy to pop up and layer onto your projects for added texture!

Bad Dog...

OMG! I remember how mad I was this day!! LOL -- Jaxson was in so much trouble for going out and getting filthy in the mud! I had just bought him a brand new collar too! In hind sight, the whole thing is now pretty funny! Especially considering how ashamed he looks due to his naughty behavior!

Rover by Bella Blvd

Ok, I have to admit, I am absolutely enamored with the new Rover line from Bella Blvd! I think this has to be one of my Top 10 favorite lines from Bella Blvd EVER! Srsly!I had so much fun playing with this line for Paper Issues Sketchy Saturday, Paper Issues Scraplift Sunday AND even a just-for-fun layout!

My first layout is for the current sketch up on the Paper Issues blog inspired by Stephanie Buice for Doodlebug Designs. This was such an awesome sketch and really got me out of my comfort zone in terms of designing a page layout! For this layout I used the the following patterned papers:  Borders, the B side of Dog Show, the A and B sides of Give a Dog a Bone,  the B side of Puppy Prints, and the Rover Treasures & Texts and Trinkets stickers! Those black and grey polka dot letters though -- stop it right now! I also sneaked in a little Color Cast Designs #thestruggleisreal wood veneer from the #Hashtagit set! Next up is probably my favorite layout that I did using the Rover line! This layout was inspired by Cassie Box for this week's ScrapLift Sunday over on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page. Be sure to stop by and play along -- we love seeing how you are inspired by the design team layouts from Paper Issues!  For this layout I used the Rover Treasures & Texts and Trinkets stickers as well as the following patterned papers: Borders, the B side of Dog Show, Give a Dog a Bone, Loyal and Puppy Prints.

Finally, my last layout using Rover was a just-for-fun layout because I couldn't resist scrapping this photo of Olivia for one second longer! She is such a spoiled brat and knows it but she is my baby! I was on a mission to use up the Rover Treasures & Texts and Trinkets stickers before all my paper was gone! I did a lot of fun clustering on this layout and I especially love the kraft background here! For this one I used the following patterned papers: Borders, Dog Show, Give a Dog a Bone and Puppy Prints. I have been hoarding one last wood veneer doxie from Color Cast Designs and this was the lucky layout that I was holding out for! Four Legged Birthday Boy...

I love the ScrapLift Sunday feature over on the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page!  It is such a great way to put together a fast layout based on awesome inspiration from the Paper Issues Design Team!

This week's inspiration comes from Jana's Summer layout!

I used the Chickaniddy 365 line for these photos of Jaxson in his first-birthday party hat! 

Jana's hand cut letters really inspired me to leave my comfort zone! I never hand cut letters but I truly love how this turned out! 

And look at that face! Can you even...? This handsome baby boy is just the sweetest, even if he didn't like his party hat!

Jaxson's Gotcha Day...

Color Cast Designs' April release launched today and Jessica hit it out of the ballpark again! I used the Adoption Set for this layout about the day we got 8-week-old Jaxson from the El Dorado County Animal Shelter. He was so tiny!!

 

When I saw these yellow hearts the Color Me Happy line from Glitz immediately came to mind. I love using bright, happy, colorful papers and embellishments!

 

Even though the Adoption set was made with Jessica's nieces in mind, it definitely works perfectly for those fur babies out there too!

Dog Thoughts...

This photo was just too perfect for the Color Cast Design Speech Bubbles that I have been holding on to! I always wonder what my pups are thinking. Most of the time they are probably just thinking that I am a weirdo for always taking photos of them and talking to them like they are babies! 

I also used some older Queen & Co. patterned paper, brads and card stock stickers for this LO as well as some paw print ribbon from Creative Imaginations that I've had in my stash forever and a little dog bone paper clip! 

And how cute is this wood veneer chunky pup from Color Cast Designs - you can choose from over 14 chunky animals and they are so ding dang cute!
