I love this photo of Connor kicked back on his bed on an early Monday morning during summer vacation playing video games before anybody else was out of bed.

This layout is WAY out of my box! Inspired by Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch I whipped this layout up using supplies and techniques I was hesitant to use. Misting! Stitching! ONE PHOTO! Me? Never! But risk pays off, because I am LOVING this fun layout!

The PERFECT layout for my FINAL font of the bet, I guess SOMEBODY (Debbie Ikert <cough, cough>) owes me my 54th QuicKutz font, because I WIN!!!

~Birthday Baby~

I know...I know...I just couldn't resist one last layout of my niece in her baby stage. She is getting SO BIG, SO QUICKLY! This is a layout of my niece on her first birthday; that pink tutu KILLS me! Dara will be 3 years old on August 9th and she is eons different than the baby girl in this layout. She talks, like, entire conversations, and she has an awesome personality, and most insanely, she is a big sister now! Time to get started on that second baby girl's photos...

Week 50: Empire

~I'll go back to India when pigs fly...~

This is a JUMBO panoramic layout of my last trip to India in August/September 2010; my [unlikely] second trip to India after swearing NEVER to return! I guess the joke's on me, because when I agreed to go back to India for a second time, surely that meant pigs did have wings and could fly! When I bought this Graphic 45 line, Olde Curiosity Shoppe, I couldn't imagine how I would ever use it, but the flying pig paper was far too great of a print to pass up! Then genius struck and this paper totally inspired this mega-layout! FYI, I will use the Memory Book panoramic page protectors to get this SIX PAGE, 23 PHOTO layout into my albums!

 

Week 49: Magnolia

These are my favorite shots from my niece's one year photo shoot and the final layout in her baby book! I love her expression, sitting in the grass, in nothing but a tutu!! Although she will be three August 9th, and it took me two years to finish this project, I loved reliving her first year of life! Now...onto her sister Honi (already almost 6 months old)!
