This Moment. Right Now...

Elle's Cienna is by far my favorite line from Elle's to date! I love the soft colors and how perfectly well this line, although Valentine's day theme inspired, really works with so many themes!

For this double page layout I started with a blank white background as my canvas and I really wanted to keep the focus on these gorgeous photos by Ford Family Photography of my sister's gorgeous family!

I added pops of the Cienna patterned papers to border my photos using a 2 1/2" circle punch.

Then I picked through the embellishments from the line, my beloved collection of paper bows and some of my Color Cast Designs wood veneers to embellish here and there as I saw fit!

I love how this page came out!

As. If. Like. Totally...

Hello! As we head into Mother's Day weekend I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and get some "you" time in!

There is a new feature each Sunday in the Paper Issues {Friends and Fans} group on Facebook called Scraplift Sunday! Each Sunday we pick one of the layout that a design team member created from  from the previous week for you to lift!

Last Sunday the amazing Meaghen Calder created this layout as part of the April Printable Roundup.  I was inspired to pull our the Pinkfresh Studio Up In The Clouds line and lifted Meaghen like so...

This line is so fun! The perfect line for those teenager selfies stolen from my kid!

I don't think I will ever get enough gold in scrapbooking!

"As. If..." the thought I am convinced that is ALWAYS on the tip of her tongue!

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out all the new goodies in the Paper Issues shop and use the code "Becky" for 20% off your entire order!

Swag Bag meets Snarky Stamps...

I put together this layout of our crazy neighbor enjoying a refreshing brewsky on our new lawn. Using the March Swag Bag and the Freaking Sentiments Stamps from Snarky Stamps sold exclusively by Paper Issues, I was perfectly able to convey my thoughts upon seeing this photo posted to our neighborhood Facebook page via this layout. My neighbors are freaking AWE-some!!!

I love that there was a half sheet of stickers from Bella Blvd in this month's kit! These black and white sentiments work so well with everything!

I had to sneak in some of the acrylic ampersands from Color Cast Designs that I adore, otherwise everything else on this layout is from the Swag Bag. No page is complete without an &!

I used the new hombre inks from Hero Arts to stamp my title! I. So in love with how it came out. I added some hand doodling and called it done!

Even this speech bubble die cut from the swag bag worked perfectly with my "WTF" theme! LOL

Sketchy Saturday...

Hello my Paper People! There is a brand new sketch up on the Paper Issues blog today based off an awesome layout for Nicole Nowosad.

You can find more inspiration from Nicole on her Blog and her Instagram account!

I used the new Fancy Pants Office Suite line for this adorable photo of my niece with her tushie flapping in the breeze!

This line had great embellishments including die cut labels, ephemera, buttons and flair!

I'm also crushing on the new texture of the patterned paper that Fancy Pants used for this line. It reminds me of the Bazzill Orange Peel texture.

 And I mean...that little tushie!!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Don't forget that you can find all the Paper Issues sketches here!

Shinning the Spotling on Maggie Holmes...

I am collaborating with few other ladies from the Paper Issues Design Team to put the spotlight on Maggie Holmes on the Paper Issues Blog today! Maggie's collections are some of my favorite and I pulled out my much coveted Open Book papers and embellishments for these gorgeous photos, taken by Ford Family Photography, of my niece in a ruffled skirt! These photos make my heart melt. I love this sweet girl!

Maggie's ephemera packs are THE BEST! They are packed full of the most awesome bits and pieces that are perfect for layering and embellishing. Every piece has adorable detail, including golf foil!

The tags from this line were probably my favorite embellishment. I love that they are pre-sewn and embellished! Makes a page go so quickly!

These photos make me so happy! I wish that all of my photos were this inspiring to scrapbook. Her little face just makes me wish she was still this tiny!

There is still some of the Open Book line in the Paper Issues shop! Be sure to grab some of the papers and embellishments before they are gone! Use the code "Becky," for 20% off your entire order + free shipping on orders of $60 or More (after discounts applied).

Paper Issues Printable Spotlight...

The Paper Issues Design Team, along with some Paper Issues {Friends & Fans}, are highlighting how they are using the Paper Issues free printables on the blog today!

I used the printable from the PI Crop for this layout of Olivia & I. This little dog is such a spoiled brat. She's my shadow and she loves cuddles!

I used the March Swag Bag for this layout as well as the Paper Issues Crop Sketch. All of the Paper Issues sketches can be found here!

The gold star confetti paired with the Twinkling gold glitter acrylic stars from Color Cast Designs make me so happy!  I la la la love gold embellishments right now. I cannot get enough! I also snuck in one of the little black ampersands from the Color Cast Designs Ampersand Set - perfect for adding a little bit here are there for more detail!

A close up of the printable that I used shows the awesome chalkboard texture background!

Thank you so much for taking a look!
